Whilst the fruit may be a little cheaper, we can almost certainly guarantee that it won't be of the same quality as ours. Our fruit goes through numerous quality control checks both in the buying and packing stages. With lesser quality fruit you'll probably end up throwing some of it out.

Add to this your own time in choosing the fruit, the delivery cost (or back pain!) of getting the fruit back to the office, and the time it takes to place the fruit in appropriate containers (and then wash the containers) in your office, and you will quickly see how using an all-inclusive service like ours is the most cost-effective long-term solution for your office.

Your business should focus on what it does best, and leave less important things like fruit (at least to you) - to us!

This is true. However, from our experience and feedback from clients, fruit is not regularly eaten by staff unless it is within easy reach i.e. in the workplace area or floor kitchen. Most people who go down to the canteen are more likely to buy a coffee and a muffin, than a piece of fruit. The objective of a fruit initiative is to ensure that staff are eating fruit regularly - otherwise the health benefits are lost.

Our fruit buying team hand-select our fresh fruit from the fruit markets before the break of dawn every morning. We carefully select our fruit mix to ensure it is of premium quality, has great taste and is at the "breaking point of ripeness".

At the Fruitful Packhouse, we prepare the fruit to make it convenient for the workplace e.g. we separate the bananas and grapes into individual portions. This prevents the hoarding of fruit by certain more eager employees! All the fruit is checked for quality issues before being included in the baskets or boxes. We also de-sticker the fruit - this may seem like a small feature of our service, but it allows our team to check the fruit quality again before being placed in the baskets or boxes.

In transit, our fruit is handled with the maximum care from the market to drop-off, so that it reaches you in perfect condition.

No. We only supply "hand-held" fruit that can be easily eaten in your office. So for example, instead of oranges we supply soft citrus fruits such as clementines, satsumas and mineolas which are easier to peel and don't drip. In addition, we separate our bananas and grapes into individual portions to make it easier for each person to take a piece of fruit. This is a small detail which we think is important because it also means we can quality check our fruit yet again before the fruit is placed into your basket.

Given that organic fruit is hard to supply consistently in guaranteed quantities, we do not guarantee our fruit is organic. We may, however, include it as part of our offering wherever its quality reaches our requirements.

We do NOT buy air-freighted fruit and source locally where possible (remember: bananas have to be grown in tropical environments!).

No. Whilst most of our customers enjoy weekly deliveries, we can also provide our fruit on a bi-weekly or even monthly basis. We will be happy to make a recommendation to you that suits your budget. What we do require, however, is that it be a regular order over a determined period of time. The reason is because we believe that the full benefits of providing fruit in the office are only felt through more than just a "one-off" single delivery. Please call us to discuss your specific needs.

Setting up an account and getting started could not be easier. You can either use our online ordering process (go to "order fruit now"), reach us through our "contact us" page, or simply call us on 0845 643 1615. Ordering fruit is not like buying stationary for your office: there are numerous options available to you in terms of order quantity, delivery days and order splits. So please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss your needs. We have helped thousands of clients to implement a successful office fruit delivery service.

Yes. We can split your order over each of your floors to different departments and even invoice each department separately if you should require it.

We can easily do this for you. We have many clients with multiple regional offices which we service across the UK. Advantages of using us to service several offices include:

  • A consistent and high product offering accross all your sites
  • One point of contact for all your customer service needs
  • Centralised invoicing

You can expect to receive your fruit delivery at any time between 7:30am and 1.00pm (central London) or 2.00pm (other locations in UK) on your delivery day. If your office opens a bit later than 7.30am don't worry - we will find a way to get your fruit to you!

We invoice monthly and payment can be made in several ways:

  • Direct Debit: the most convenient and hassle-free payment method
  • Bank transfer (also known as Bacs)
  • Debit/credit cards

Payment options are clearly labeled on our invoice.

We do not want you to be tied into a service which does not suit you. For this reason, we have NO fixed contracts. Instead, we only ask you to agree to our simple terms and conditions which include the following clauses:

  • Should you ever wish to change your order, we only ask that you give us 24 (basket service) to 48 hours (box service) notice. For example, you may wish to pause the orders on a certain day because your team is off on an "away day". Because we invoice monthly at the beginning of each month, any order changes are either debited or credited on the following month's invoice
  • Should you ever wish to stop your order altogether, we only ask that you continue your deliveries until the end of the month you are currently in (which is a maximum period of about 4 weeks at any one time)

We operate a 100% Fruitful Guarantee so that if any piece of fruit is not to your satisfaction you will not be charged for it. This guarantee covers the specific fruit affected by the
quality issue you experienced.
