Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: October to December 2019
Tree planting season is now!
December, January and February is when the young trees get planted out from the tree nurseries. This coincides with the start of the rainy season, which runs from now until April. By planting now the trees are given the best possible chance to survive.
Ripple Africa really believe in empowering women – and there are three amazing women working on the tree planting campaign: Mercy, Trizza and Angellah. Between them they have produced over 1.8 million tree seedlings, all of which will be planted out over the next two months.
We are really proud of their achievements.
