Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: January to March 2021
Case study: Hanock Mpata
- Hanock Mpata is a village head. He is 46 and has two wives and nine children
- His target was to plant 4,000 pine trees this year and the majority have germinated. Last year he planted 1,200 trees
- He said, “When the trees mature I will sell the timber so that I can support my children. In the future I want to build a house for each wife, buy a car and set up a business.”
